# WhatsApp blasting

Reach customers on WhatsApp with two options under **Blasting**:

* **WhatsApp Business App** — for the standard WhatsApp Business setup. Write a free-form message, attach media if you like, and messages go out gradually (drip sending) to keep your number healthy.
* **WhatsApp API (WABA)** — for the official WhatsApp Business Platform. Select an approved **WhatsApp Template** and its language; any image or document in the template is delivered with it.

For both, pick the audience by customer label and set the **scheduled time** for the send.

WhatsApp requires pre-approved templates for proactive (outbound) messages on the official API, so prepare your templates first.
