# Searching, filtering and segments

As your contact list grows, find people quickly:

* **Search** by name, email, or phone.
* **Filter** by attributes such as **inbox** (everyone who has messaged a particular channel), country, labels, or custom fields.
* Save a filter as a **segment** to reuse it later.

You can also sort columns and page through results from the contacts list, and combine filtering with bulk selection — for example, filter to one inbox, select all, and act on everyone at once.
