# Inboxes and channels

An **inbox** connects a communication channel to your account. Go to **Settings → Inboxes** and click **Add Inbox**, then pick a channel:

* **Website** — a live-chat widget for your site ([guide](/settings/connecting-a-website-live-chat-inbox)).
* **WhatsApp** — via QR scan or the official WhatsApp Cloud API ([guide](/settings/connecting-a-whatsapp-inbox)).
* **Facebook** and **Instagram** — connect your page and account ([Facebook](/settings/connecting-a-facebook-inbox), [Instagram](/settings/connecting-an-instagram-inbox)).
* **Telegram**, **Line**, **TikTok** — bring your messaging apps into the same inbox ([Telegram](/platform/connect-to-social-media-channels/telegram), [LINE](/settings/connecting-a-line-inbox), [TikTok](/settings/connecting-a-tiktok-inbox)).
* **SMS** — through Twilio or Bandwidth ([guide](/settings/connecting-an-sms-inbox)).
* **Email** — connect any mailbox with **Other Providers**: forward incoming mail to the address generated for the inbox, and add your IMAP and SMTP credentials in the inbox settings for full two-way email ([guide](/settings/connecting-an-email-inbox)).
* **API** — a custom channel driven by your own systems ([guide](/settings/connecting-an-api-inbox)).

**Settings → Inboxes** lists every inbox with a search box. Each row has a settings icon that opens the inbox's own page, with tabs for **Settings**, **Collaborators**, **Business Hours**, **CSAT** and the channel's extras, and administrators also get **Delete**.
