Your plan includes a set number of agent actions each billing period — the work your AI agent does in your account on your behalf. This article explains how that allowance works, where to see what you’ve used, and what happens when it runs out.
What counts as an action
Every task the agent completes is one action — for example, replying to a conversation, updating a contact, pulling a report, adding an AI Knowledge entry, updating a WhatsApp template, or preparing a blasting draft. A single plain-language request from you can turn into several actions if the agent does several things to carry it out. Only successful actions count. If a request is blocked — say the key is missing a permission — or fails for any reason, it doesn’t use up any of your allowance.
See how much you’ve used
- Go to Settings → API & Agents.
- Look at the Calls column next to each key.
That number is how many successful actions each agent has run with that key. It’s the same list you use to name, review, and switch off keys — see Create and manage your agent access keys.
When the allowance runs out
When you reach your plan’s limit for the period, the agent pauses and replies with a “quota exceeded” message instead of carrying on. This isn’t a broken connection or an error to work around — your key still works, and your own dashboard is completely unaffected. It simply means you’ve used up this period’s actions.
When it resets
Your allowance resets automatically at your next billing renewal — the start of your next billing period. You don’t need to do anything: once the new period begins, the agent picks up again on its own.
Need more before then?
If you’d rather not wait for the renewal, upgrade to a higher plan. That raises your allowance and lifts the pause straight away.
One thing to know: a downgrade, or a change to a same-tier plan, won’t reset your usage for the current period. Only moving up to a higher plan — or reaching your next renewal — gives you more room this period.
