As your contact list grows, find people quickly:
- Search by name, email, or phone.
- Filter by attributes such as inbox (everyone who has messaged a particular channel), country, labels, or custom fields.
- Save a filter as a segment to reuse it later.

You can also sort columns and page through results from the contacts list, and combine filtering with bulk selection — for example, filter to one inbox, select all, and act on everyone at once.
Filtering by label
A Labels condition matches the labels on the contact or on any of their conversations. Your team usually labels conversations rather than contacts, so everyone whose conversation carries the label is included, together with the contacts you labelled directly. The same rule applies everywhere you pick people by label: the contact filter, saved segments, and blasting audiences.
Filtering for people without a label works the same way: Is not present means no label on the contact and none on any of their conversations, and Has none of leaves out anyone carrying the label on either.
Saving a filter as a segment
- In Contacts, open Filter contacts, add your conditions — for example a Labels condition with the label your team uses in conversations — and click Apply filters.
- Click the save button in the header.
- Give the filter a name and click Save filter.
The segment appears under Segments in the left panel. It is re-run each time you open it, so it picks up newly labelled conversations on its own.
Reaching the same people with a blast
When you create a blasting, choose Filter contacts as the audience and add the same label condition. The count under the audience — “… contacts will receive this blasting” — includes contacts labelled directly and contacts whose conversations carry the label, so it matches the number of people who will hear from you. See Creating and scheduling a blasting.
